Bruce: Those low limit S17 games didn’t last long. Believe me, I’m in Vegas all the time since I play blackjack for a living. The only .19% games at TI are in the high limit area. That’s usually a $50 minimum and sometimes bumped to $100 minimum. The $10 double deck games now hit on Soft 17.

Richard: Unfortunately it’s 6:5. If you want full payment on single deck blackjack in Vegas you’ll have to head downtown to El Cortez. You’ll get the full payment plus $5 minimums. Not exactly the greatest place to hang out though (no offense intended to those that hang out at EC).

Steve: Wendover has tables that are $5/$10 – $500 and $25 – $1,000. I’m a little less familiar with Tunica, but I believe there are tables going up to $5,000 and even $10,000 maximums.

Amy: The best odds for a basic strategy player are at Barona in San Diego. For card counters there are better games due to the importance of good dealer penetration. I'll be keeping details on penetration at specific casinos to myself and my blackjack students.

Recently when in Las Vegas I was told 5$ single deck blackjack is available at the Gold Coast. I didn’t have the opportunity to check it out, but can someone confirm whether it is a 3:2 or 6:5 game?

Admin: Treasure Island’s ownership was just changed from MGM Mirage to billionaire Phil Ruffin who use to own the Frontier. I played there on January 15th where four $10 double deck tables were in play in the main pit. I was pleasantly surprised with the .19% house edge at these games and hope the members here get a piece of the action and confirm my findings.
